  • -1084 (-484 BIK): The first outsiders land in the regions near Hanmel. The native population is primarily agrarian.
  • -1060 (-460 BIK): Hanmel is founded by refugee ships following strong currents. Unable to return, they establish a settlement.
  • -920 (-320 BIK): Acyra is founded by secularists, determined to build their future on science, not faith.
  • -890 (-290 BIK): The University of Acyra is established, bolstering the city’s academic growth.
  • -810 (-210 BIK): Rosebury is founded after being discovered by shipwreck survivors.
  • -788 (-188 BIK): The towns of Beggeley and Redfort are established.
  • -617 (-17 BIK): Fairwater is founded, expanding the influence of coastal settlements.
  • -606 (-6 BIK): Aynston is founded, marking further inland settlement.

The Independent Kingdoms Era (IK)

  • -600 (0 IK): The Hanmel Conference establishes regional boundaries, marking the beginning of the independent kingdoms era.
  • -536 (64 IK): The 50-Year Peace ends as Hanmel invades Redshire, seeking expansion.
  • -532 (68 IK): Hanmel’s armies march into Aurelia.
  • -531 (69 IK): Hanmel invades Cunningham, expanding their empire further.
  • -526 (74 IK): Redfort falls, and the royal family is executed, leaving their son, the Red Prince, to continue the fight.
  • -524 (76 IK): Hanmel’s forces are pushed out of Aurelia.
  • -523 (77 IK): Aurelia defeats Hanmel, resulting in the end of its imperial expansion and the spread of new monarchies influenced by Aurelia’s Old Gods.
  • -522 (78 IK): The Red Prince returns to Redshire with an army, continuing to rule as “Prince” in deference to his royal lineage.

The First Empire (FE)

  • -500 (1 FE): Emperor Rodrigo of Imperio Del Sol establishes the First Empire after conquering Acyra, marking the end of the independent kingdoms.
  • -495 (6 FE): Hanmel falls to Imperio Del Sol, consolidating much of the continent under the empire.
  • -441 (60 FE): Redshire, allied with exiled Hanmel royals, storms Hanmel, reclaiming it.
  • -408 (93 FE): The rebellion against Hanmel ends, and the remaining heirs are executed. Redshire is ruled directly by the crown.
  • -405 (96 FE): Economic turmoil leads to mass unemployment, sparking a crime wave and causing rural farmers to flood into the cities.
  • -403 (98 FE): A massive famine devastates the population.
  • -402 (99 FE): The 3rd Red Prince leads an uprising, liberating Redshire and sparking a chain reaction of nations declaring independence.
  • -397 (104 FE): The First Empire shifts its capital back to Santa Gloria, abandoning Hanmel.

The Second Empire (SE)

  • -386 (0 SE): A series of imperial troops sneak off and take the continent’s capitals without bloodshed.
  • -341 (45 SE): Imperio Del Sol invades Royhaven, St. Bolosphs, and Duneisle. Their forces meet little opposition.
  • 339 (47 SE): The imperial fleet retaliates, burning and sacking towns on the islands.
  • -337 (49 SE): St. Bolsoph’s attempts to defend against the empire. The imperial forces leave the islands in ruins.
  • -328 (58 SE): Imperio Del Sol submits to the empire, now just a scattered land of ruined towns and forests.
  • -312 (74 SE): A two-year famine devastates the region, resulting in the death of crops and a lack of fishing days. The empire provides aid, solidifying their rule.
  • -232 (154 SE): The peace ends as St. Bolsoph’s attempts to separate as a pirate kingdom, culminating in the destruction of its capital, Wentworth.
  • -194 (192 SE): An imperial expedition to the Frozen Wastes ends in failure due to the harsh environment and tribal warfare.
  • -188 (198 SE): The Church of the Old Gods is banned by the empire, leaving only the imperials’ god as the accepted deity.
  • -186 (200 SE): Resistance to the empire grows, culminating in severe crackdowns and widespread unrest.
  • -36 (350 SE): Guerrilla warfare persists as the resistance continues its efforts against the imperial forces.
  • -12 (374 SE): An assassination attempt on Rosebury’s mayor results in an overreaction from the imperial forces.
  • -11 (375 SE): Sensing weakness in the imperial forces, Redshire rebels against the weakened empire, leading to widespread unrest.

Present Day (386 SE)

  • 0 (386 SE): The present day marks a time of uncertainty as rebellion brews in Redshire, and the imperial army weakens.
